Merry Christmas! (: To my one reader! shout out to STEPHANIE!! yeah buddy!
*UPDATE: I officially have TWO readers! Wooot! Shout out to my favorite cousins: CHRISTIE & STEPHANIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am heading to my favorite place in the world in just 4 days!!! Where is that you ask? No, not the golden beaches of Florida, not the beautiful streets of Rome or Paris, not Hawaii or California, not even the cultural cities of Mexico, I am going to MICHIGAN!!!!!!!!!! The cold, sometimes wet, snowy, even colder, city of Haslett, Michigan. It is absolutely beautiful to me! (: I could not imagine a better place. All of my family is somewhat near by, i know the streets just about as well as the town I have lived in for 9 years, lovely shopping, lots of restaurants, the over used but oh so yummy Culvers, MAX AND ERMAS!, beautiful snow, merry people, and my loving family. THAT is my favorite place in the world. (:
I must describe to you a moment I will remember forever. It was Christmas morning and my parents were making me wait (torture) to go to Christie and Stephanie's house. We were staying at the Hampton Inn (my favorite) and I decided to go for a swim. Now imagine this with me: I LOVE swimming! the smell of the chlorine, the feeling of all that water on your skin, splashing around and laughing. It was perfect. My dad and I were the only ones there and I was the only one in the pool (he didn't get in). I looked outside to the patio area that we have never used because we always come when the temperature is like in the negatives, to see perfectly white and crisp snow on the ground. Sweet and simple. Then I realized that it was also snowing right then. It was a white Christmas, and a beautiful one at that.
Merry Christmas.
